Remove 4 dead red cedars. One is next to the boathouse. The others are on the top of the coastal bank. There are other trees in a narrow buffer to the bank. This is an old house site that is mowed but there is no dwelling on this lot now.

Norman Eaton                                    88 Tonset Road
Proposed planting of the top third of the coastal bank.  22 native species are being planted along with a Conservation Seed Mix.  The work will be done by Sam Southworth, who has been advised by Wilkinson Ecological Design.  1/3 of the invasive species removal has been done in this area that is now ready to be planted.  This project will proceed slowly, in 3 sections.

Jeff & Joan Talmadge                            14 Fells Lane
Proposed re-planting of the buffer zone with natives to mitigate unauthorized cutting of trees & shrubs. Most of the wood chips will also be removed from the site to allow the native groundcovers to re-establish.  Representative, Seth Wilkinson of Wilkinson Ecological Design.

Landscaping Plan
Anthony and Karen Dumont                        86 Tonset Road
This Order for a stairway was conditioned on revegetation under and next to the stairway. The plantings are coming in well and they would like to expand the vegetation Plan to allow a view. This view-cutting would include removing the invasive vines and a few low branches of 4 oak trees and 1 Norway maple. The Plan includes the pruning down of one small black cherry and the removing of 4 fallen black locusts. A buffer strip will be planted along the top of the coastal bank. A large black oak on the left side of the property with a split trunk that is a danger to the dwelling is also proposed for removal.
